Italy – a partner country for TT Warsaw 2018

Italy is one of the favourite destinations for Poles. Its presence at this year’s edition of 26. International Travel Show TT Warsaw will be exceptional, as an agreement with ENIT (National Agency for Italian Tourism) naming Italy a partner country has just been concluded. Every year, this beautiful country is visited by over 50 million foreigners. This gives it the 5th place in the world in terms of the number of visitors. Italy is the heir of an ancient civilization which laid the foundation for today’s Europe, and its rich history is reflected by the fact that it has the biggest number of monuments entered into the UNESCO cultural heritage list. It bewitches with the beauty of its landscape, from its enchanting islands and coastal beaches, to the Alpine peaks. The whole picture is completed by delicious cuisine, making it a real paradise for gourmets.

Bella Italia in the centre of Warsaw

Nine Italian regions (including Sardinia, Emilia-Romagna, Marche and Umbria) will present their qualities at the stand with an area of nearly 400 sqm. Its attractiveness will be ensured by 150 sub-exhibitors who will present the tourist facilities, not forgetting though about the possibility to taste the truly Italian flavours. They will include Italian cheeses and cooked meats as well as exquisite wines and liqueurs. And all this accompanied by the sounds of Italian music.

To include the world in the palace

This is a real challenge for the organizers. During the fair, besides Italy, the Palace of Culture and Science will host: Albania, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Croatia, Cuba, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Israel, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Nepal, the Netherlands, Palestine, Panama, Peru, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam as well as Jordan, Romania, Slovakia, South Africa, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. The list in constantly growing and so is the number of foreign exhibitors.
